Bio

Dr. McCartin has lived in Southeastern Pennsylvania since 1996. Since she was a young child, she knew that she would end up working in veterinary medicine. After completing her BS in Chemistry-Biology at West Chester University in 2007, she worked for two years as a veterinary technician before attending the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. After two years with another general practice, she joined the team at Ardmore Animal Hospital in the fall of 2015.

Dr. McCartin is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association. She is interested in surgery and small mammal/exotic animal medicine. Dr. McCartin shares her home with her long-time boyfriend, two dogs (a Catahoula Leopard dog and a Hound mix), a little old lady cat, and a box turtle. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, camping, road trips, and scrap booking these adventures.
