Dr. So grew up in Havertown, PA, and attended Pennsylvania State University, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in veterinary and biomedical sciences. She earned her graduate degree in veterinary medicine from The University of Pennsylvania in 2019. Dr. So loved her hometown so much that she and her husband decided to stay local in order to be close to family and friends. Volunteering at the Delaware County SPCA (now Providence Animal Center) inspired her to become a veterinarian to help all of the voiceless animals.
You may still see her at Providence, as she volunteers her time every now and again! Dr. So is a strong advocate of preventative medicine that keeps pets healthy and prevents disease. She has a strong interest in dentistry and soft tissue surgery. When she is home, she loves gardening, yoga, painting, and crafting of any kind. She has five rescue dogs – a one-eyed Cocker Spaniel mix, a Pitbull-Hound mix, two Chihuahuas, and a Pomeranian.
